Welcome To LaLiviLou!

Gosh this is exciting isn’t it! This is my first official post on the new blog! For those that have just stumbled across this little space on the internet, my names Olivia and I used to run the blog The Printed Parade! However, due to domain problems I can no longer use that blog so I’ve created a new one!

LaLiviLou was actually born back in November when I realised I would have to do something new. I brainstormed for new names, which really isn’t my strong point, and La Livi Lou was born! My mum has called my livilou for as long as I can remember so I thought it was a nice name for the blog. Not wanting to feel stuck with a name I thought about it for a while before I did anything concrete!

You can still expect all the same type of content as before and I’m so excited for this next chapter! LaLiviLou is here to stay and it’s going to be my little space on the internet forever now! No more domain controversy!

I really want to try and build this blog as much as I can, I want to get back to my old mojo that I had this time last year! I honestly can’t believe I’ve been blogging for a year – so scary! I have enjoyed it so much and can’t wait for the future!

I’ve copied over a lot of the old posts from The Printed Parade so you can give them a read if you haven’t before, or if you want to revisit them! Rather than posting every other day like I used to, I’ve switched to an every Wednesday post as university is really hotting up this year! I have soooo much going on, and I don’t want my blog to suffer from me just chucking out any old post because I have too many deadlines to keep! So I think once a week is the right balance for me and this blog will be perfect for a little Hump Day pick-me-up!

I welcome you to join this new part of my blogging journey and I really hope you enjoy it! As I’ve had to switch blogs, I’ve lost all my old comments so it would be amazing if anyone wants to help me out and get some back! I love interacting with my readers!

I hope you like the new blog layout too! A lot of work went into getting it just right, and I have to say I’m rather proud of it! I’m no designer or someone who possesses any real artistic flair so I have to say I’m surprised at how good I think it looks!

So what can you expect?

As I mentioned earlier I’ll still be writing similar stuff so all about empowerment and becoming the best version of yourself, but what does that really mean eh?

Well I’ll be writing about:

Health and Wellness

This will be content related to exercise, yoga, wellness and mindfulness. In addition to some meditation and foodie things!

La Livi Lou Recipes

Well I’ve decided to add a little something different! I have recently discovered a love for cooking and baking so thought it would be perfect to try and incorporate this with my new and improved blog! I’ve already got some gluten-free and vegan recipes to look forward to!

The Empowerment Era

Does what it says on the tin really. This will be content on personal development, confidence and just generally how to be the best version of you!

Body Talk

Bringing back the origins of my blog, this will be all about body positivity and self-care! How to look after your body and how to love it in every form!

Women’s World

Finally, this section is for all you feminists out there! Now, I’m not talking about White Feminism, I mean intersectionality! And to be honest, even though the category title is ‘Women’s’ this section is not exclusive to female feminism! It is for all genders and sexualities!

Now I hope you like what’s to come and I can’t wait to share it with you!
