For my birthday this year my boyfriend well and truly spoilt me. It was our first “celebration” since we’ve been together so it all felt really rather special. I’ve always been the planner in relationships so to have someone plan and then surprise me with a weekend away was really the most amazing thing! I wanted to share with you some of the things we did with our time, the places we ate and what we saw too!
Morocco was undeniably an experience I will never forget. For those of you that have read my previous post, you will perhaps understand why. (I recommend giving it a read before this one as it helps lay the context!) This post today is all abut Morocco, the sights I saw, the places I visited and all of that typical travel stuff. Welcome to Kenya
I have fallen in love with Kenya. I have fallen in love with the people; the landscape; the culture; the food; the everything. 2 weeks was simply not enough and I already am so eager to get back as soon as I can.
I had varied expectations of the trip: I was nervous, excited and a bit uncertain of how it was going to be. I knew I’d love it, but I massively underestimated how big that love was going to end up being. If someone were to ask if I wanted to go back tomorrow, I would without even thinking.

I’ve never gone travelling before, just on family holidays, so this was all new to me! I went to the blogging community to get tips and tricks to prepare me for my 5 weeks in South East Asia, so I thought I’d compile a list of what worked for me!

I am hating how quickly this trip is going! I swear I just got here and now I’m already half way through my time in South East Asia!!
I hear the weather back home hasn’t been too fabulous, but I hope you’re all enjoying your summer! It’s so incredible humid here, so all a bit sweaty! (Ain’t that lovely!)
Wow I cannot believe my time in Vietnam is over!! I spent two glorious weeks in the beautiful country and I honestly feel so sad to have left!
I’m currently prepping for my overnight train to Chiang Mai from Bangkok, which I have to say I’m strangely looking forward to! I’ve never used an overnight train before so here’s another adventure!
So my time in Hanoi has come to an end and I’m now off to Hue. In fact as I’m writing this I’m currently waiting at my boarding gate because my flight to Hue has been delayed.
